Minnesota Improves In Forbes Best For Business List

Minnesota raised its position by two spots in the recent Forbes list for Best States For Business and Careers. 

The state ranked 15th this yeart, up from 17th in 2009.  Neighboring North Dakota and Iowa each faired better with rankings of 11th and 13th.

Minnesota finished strong because of higher ratings in Quality of Life (4th), Labor Supply (8th) and Growth Prospects (13th).  Lower ratings for Business Costs (30th), Regulatory Environment (32nd) and Economic Climate (37th) kept the state from performing stronger.
