Thomas H. Bodin
Tom Bodin, Managing Partner and President of O.I. Partners - Organizational Innovations, Inc., has an impressive record of human resource, operations, management, individual and business-to-business consulting, coaching, training and recruitment experience. He actively advises, counsels and provides practical insights beneficial to both organizations and individuals. As an executive coach to senior management, Tom’s focus is principally based on improving self awareness, inspiring a shared vision, challenging the status quo and collaborating with and strengthening others. A skilled facillitator and sought after speaker, he engages his audiences in meaningful learning experiences.
Tom serves on the O.I. Partners, Inc., Board of Directors and as Vice President of Technology and Strategic Alliances. In this role he seeks to develop and capitalize on O.I. Partners domestic and international marketing reach by seeking out mutually beneficial business relationships on behalf of the corporation and its local partner firms.
Since 1992 Tom has served on the Hennepin-Carver County Workforce Investment Board, currently serving as Board Chairman. . He also led the fourteen county Greater Metropolitan Workforce Council for four years. He is actively involved in Workforce Development, focusing on Business and Economic Development activities as a driver for job growth. He works extensively with organizations, businesses, community, education and government entities to encourage and create beneficial employment and training partnerships.
An adjunct faculty member in Human Resource Management, Tom teaches graduate courses in Human Resource Management Strategy at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Previous corporate business experience includes an extensive background in Human Resources, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications and Broadcasting. Prior to starting his own business, major employers were KSTP Radio, I.C. System, Pako Corporation, ITT Corporation and the Carlson Companies.
He has always believed in giving his time and supporting and acting on behalf of community needs. He holds a B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota in Speech Communication and Journalism. He is married and has two grown children.
